Income (net = gross − deductions)

Florida runs the schedule on combined net income. Enter each parent's gross, then the actual monthly deductions from their financial affidavit (Form 12.902(e)) — including their actual federal income tax and FICA. The calculator sums them; it does not estimate tax.

Children & parenting

Parenting arrangement

When a parent has at least 20% of the overnights (73/year), Florida mandates the substantial-time-sharing gross-up: the basic obligation is multiplied by 1.5 and cross-multiplied by each parent's overnight share, then offset. Below 73 overnights there is no gross-up (only a discretionary deviation). Enter each parent's overnights with the 'Custom' option.

Add-ons (pro-rated by income share)

Deviation (optional)

A court-ordered adjustment to the presumptive amount, supported by written findings. Enter a monthly dollar amount.
