Calculator

Enter both parents' monthly gross incomes, the number of children, and the parenting arrangement. The calculator combines income, reads the basic obligation off the GA schedule, prorates by income share, and applies add-ons, the parenting adjustment, and any deviation you specify. Free, no signup.

Income

Enter each parent's adjusted gross monthly income. Imputed or self-employment income should already be resolved to a monthly figure.

Children & parenting

Parenting arrangement

Georgia applies a mandatory parenting-time cross-credit (SB 454, eff. 1/1/2026): pick the noncustodial parent and enter each parent's court-ordered overnights under 'Custom'. The credit grows steeply as the noncustodial parent's days rise (this is the statutory formula, not a bug). Use 'Standard' only when there is no court-ordered parenting time (no adjustment).

Add-ons (pro-rated by income share)

Deviation (optional)

A court-ordered adjustment to the presumptive amount, supported by written findings. Enter a monthly dollar amount.
